Why i got this error?
shiftedC=-0.4
??? Error using ==> plus
Matrix dimensions must agree.
Error in ==> recog_pad_hmqc at 26
P1(:,1)=shiftedC+P1(:,1);
i only what to sum a value to the vector this part is inside a function .

At the command window, please end the command
dbstop if error
and then run the program. When it stops with the error, please check
size(shiftedC)
size(P1)

Ofcourse for signal addition dimensions must agree.....am not getting your phrase ''sum a value to the vector''....if you wanna scale each element you can go for .*(element mult)...
or otherwise try shiftedC=-.4*ones(enter demesion)+p1(:,1)
