How create missing data plot?

How can create a missing data plot like this?

Suppose I have a table with 8 columns, of which the first is of datetime type. I want to plot a chart with months names on x axis, number of samples (rows) on y axis and visualize rows with all NaN or zeros with a specific color (as in the previous chart). Thanks in advance. Regards.
