Error Attaching a CAN Database

Hi I am trying to attach a database whihc is originally called as 350CAN-DataBase.dbc in MATLAB R2013b. This not only gives me an error but shutdown MATLAB. I also tried saving the .dbc as XYZ.dbc since the original Name of the Database starts with a number and contains a '-' . Still MATLAB crashes when i try to use candatabase command. Any Suggestions
