Matlab compiler app - internal error: Failed to initialize application installer

Hi,

I created an app with Matlab compiler on R2016a. I have no issue installing and using the app on my PC (where Matlab is already installed). But when I send the installer file to other users, they see the following error: - Internal error. Failed to initialize application installer (203)

Any clue why it happens?

Hi, I had the same issue on R2017a, and found there was a lack of disk space (in a temporary folder). Hope this can help. Regards

Hi,

In my case, this issue was solved by freeing space on the C: drive of the computers where the app was installed.
