WORD IDENTIFICATION

I M TRYING TO MAKE A WORD RECOGNITION SYSTEM which will identify the spoken word. i just want to keep 2 WORDS IN DICTIONARY.'left' and 'right'.

i read in an issue of matlab digest that yule walker psd can do the trick.i tried it, but the results were not good.psd of the words resemble each other closely. does anyone has some other way for for this.plss help me .

i m trying to make a word recognition system.with just two word in the dictionary.the system will identify either of the word spoken.i have tried fft psd and lpc coeff.none of them is giving a reliable result.

plss help me this.
