how to get the number of bits from a .wav file?

is there a way to calculate the number of bits from the sample of the audio wav file?

this is what i got throw whos [x,fs] = audioread('brian.wav'); whos x Name Size Bytes Class Attributes

x         434288x2             6948608  double

but the file size is 1.65 MB (1,737,196 bytes)

YOu can convert bytes into bits.....1 byte = 8 bits.
