Is the simulink really useful for the real system?

Recently,I want to use the PID to control the mechanical arm to stabilizer at an arbitrary angle. I used the simulink to do the simulation.

We have done tried many times. But I cannot success. Is there anyone could tell me that the simulink is really useful, or it is only the fantacy of the theorists?

That you tried and failed, does not mean it is impossible. Odds are, it is simply a reflection that there are things you need to learn.
Yes, some things are mathematically impossible. But in a modeling context, that is rarely the case. Instead, a model is an approximation of reality. A better model will be a better approximation.
Should a carpenter blame his tools if the structure he has built proves to be inadequate? I'd suggest not, but look to improve his own skills.

Hi,
Your question and your comments are not very clear. What is it that you are failing to do? Are you unable to control your device in simulation, or are you unable to control the actual hardware in real-time? Simulink can definitely help with both, but it is not a magic wand, it is a tool that requires engineer using it to apply their knowledge and engineering judgment.
I recommend contacting MathWorks technical support. They can dig deeper into your situation and point you in the right direction. HTH
