Arnold cat map decryption problem

i am having problems decrypting the image. please can somebody guide am i making some logical error. i guess i am not writing the decryption code properly

No, it would take too long to figure it out especially without any comments. I bet that if you started commenting the code you'd figure it out. That often happens. Look at my code. Do you see any comments in my code. About half of my lines are comments, right? Why is yours not like that? You know how often you discover your error once you explain it to someone sitting down next to you. I think that could work in your case.

Thanks, Your arnolds_cat_map.m file is really helpful. I also tried the same scrambling method to the image and it was successful. Now I am trying to unscramble the output of the previous step, obtained image is shifted to the right as well as to top direction. Can you please help me to figure out this problem?
