Java errors when running MATLAB 2016b?

Dear Mathworks support team,

I encounter these java errors (pasted below) while running MATLAB 2016b on my macbook (OS Sierra 10.2.2). I have a licensed TAH version from my institute. Eventually the code does not compile.

What is your code doing? Can you provide some reproduction steps for the errors?
