Why are Simulink results different depending on path

I have a Simulink model that produces different results depending on the path. The model and dependent files are in a directory named "simulink". If I rename the directory to "notsimulink" for example, the results are different. If I move the directory into another directory, the results are also different, but they agree with the results obtained in the "notsimulink" directory. I have an identical installation on another computer and the results using "simulink" as the directory name agree with those in the "notsimulink" directory on the home computer.
The behavior makes me suspect that something is being cached by Simulink using the path name, but I have been unable to determine what this cache might be or how to clear it.
I am using Matlab/Simulink 2015b 32bit on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. (For our application it is necessary to use the 32 bit version.) The "other" machine has the identical version of Matlab/Simulink but has Windows 10 64 bit installed.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Could you please let us know why you need to name any folder or directory as 'simulink' ?
