Is it possible to run the Parallel Computing Toolbox on workers that are on two different physical CPUs? (dual CPU motherboard)
When checking the maximum number of Threads with maxNumCompThreads under Matlab R2016b, it seems to correspond to the threads of only one CPU.
Thanks

It is possible to use Parallel Computing Toolbox on multiple processors, each with multiple cores as suggested in the following MATLAB Answers post:
'maxNumCompThreads' is used to view/control the maximum number of computational threads, that will be used by a copy of MATLAB for certain computational libraries. Parallel Computing Toolbox is aware of all the cores present in a system even when there are multiple processors in a single machine.
