Converting a processed image file to AutoCAD file

Hi,

I managed to draw boundaries of objects in an image file using edge detection code (please see attached file). The next thing I would like to do is convert this converted file into an AutoCAD drawing file or somehow make AutoCAD recognize the boundaries of the objects displayed in converted.pdf file (which is currently not working as planned). I would appreciate if anyone has any tips on how to go about doing this.
