Hello,
(observed with MATLAB 2016b, on MAC OS)
I have a script that produces a GUI. Until last week I have not ever seen this problem, but now it happens every time I run the GUI.
To interact with the GUI I have to place the mouse cursor just a few centimeters above the point I'm supposed to click. If I move the window, the problem disappears => the mouse cursor corresponds to what I should click.
This happens with an attached screen to the laptop, but also just with the laptop.
While I can come around by moving the window, this is highly frustrating.
Any clues?

I am not sure it is a macOS problem.
I am having the same problem when creating ROI, it appears at the wrong position. This occurs with my GUI if I use Matlab 2021a and 2021b (one monitor, various screen resolutions) with macOS 10.15.7. However, it works fine with Matlab 2020b and there is no shift.
In addition, I only have this problem with a GUI and not if I use a normal figure window.
Any help on that would be much appreciated.

I'm also experiencing this issue, but I'm using Matlab 2020b. Is anyone aware of a workaround to move/modify the crosshairs to be in the correct position?

This is a problem of the Macs (not of Matlab), which occurred repeatedly since 2012. Some users had success with changing the screen resolution.

Me too. The cursor position says 0 in a dimension that is clearly not 0.

Same issue here. On Windows with matlab R2023a. It causes issues when using brush and datatips in uiaxes in apps.
