Does the dynamic time warping function of Matlab normalize for different dimensions before performing DTW?

The DTW function in Matlab calculates the distance between two signals. It is possible to apply the algorithm on multidimensional signals (for example position/velocity/orientation), but does the DTW function in Matlab normalize these signals before performing DTW on them? I can't find in the Matlab help function if normalization of the signals is performed before performing DTW (https://nl.mathworks.com/help/signal/ref/dtw.html).

Not in DTW directly. FINDSIGNAL has a variant that calls DTW and it has some basic normalization.
