How can I creat buttons in a matrix?

I'm trying to do a GUI that when user select the number of rows and columns they want to create (just like a matrix), the GUI appears with the matrix but with buttons. How can I create this?

Just create a figure and add the buttons, using whatever maths you want to define how large and how far apart they should be and put this in the 'Position' property of the buttons.

Use GUIDE to place your buttons in a grid/array. Use a groupbox if you want them to go down and stay down and the others popup (like a blender).
