is there a way to plot a line that is the reverse of the y axis?

Hi i'm looking for a synatix or function that rotates a plot, e.g if i have a peak that is a minimum, is there a way to flip it upside down and make it a maximum? (bareing in mind the peaks are a list on numbers in a array).

also would you mind explaining how it would be written? e.g plot(line1,'b-'); %plots a blue line

If your data (x,y) ..use plot(x,-y)
