Goal Seeking

Is there a way to perform the same goal seeking type of calculation in matlab as excel?

I have three equations I with two unknowns in all three. I want to give matlab a trial soluation and have it calculate a solution that will make all three equations approximately equal to each other.

Seems a bit pointless when you can have solve() calculate the answers directly.

If you have the Symbolic Toolbox, fgoalattain will do it.

I have that toolbox, however I'm having trouble figuring out if you can use fgoalattain for an expression with multiple variables and multiple equations?
