Sharing data between two GUIs

Hi,

I needed help with this. I need to carry out certain calculations in Matlab when I click a push button on one GUI. The calculations carried out depend on the input values obtained from a text box in the other GUI. How do I access that value from the textbox as a variable? Can anyone guide me?? Thanks.
