How can I plot histogram ?

I wanted to plot distribution of my data. I have tried excel and I am not sure which function in matlab exactly draw a plot like in excel? I have tried ksdensity and hist functions but the plots are not like the plot drawn in excel.I know that the size of bins in two programs is different Any suggestion would much be appreciated.

Thanks Nicolas, I know this function but I don't know how to draw a pick of bars to draw a curve over the histogram without showing bars . like the distribution plot.I know that histfit works for normal distribution but my data are not normal.
