Reset integrator no initial condition in Simulink

Hi,
A reset controller uses an integrator which can reset itself. This can be implemented in Simulink using the 'External reset' option of the integrator element. The corresponding reset matrix can be implemented by showing the state port and by setting the Initial Condition Source to external.

In the image you see the an integrator, which resets to a partial value of the current state (through reset matrix R) when the input signal goes through zero. To implement the reset matrix R in the integrator, I have to set the Initial Condition Source to external. When I do this, I can no longer apply an initial condition.

Is there some way around to apply an initial condition at the start of the simulation?

I would insert a "Unit Delay" block after the "Gain" block and feed the output to "X0" port.
