Wireless sensor networks

Hi, I wanted to simulate the wireless sensor networks and than implement different routing protocols on this simulation. I am not getting how I can simulate a basic simulation . I am not finding anything appropriate to start with. can any one please give a direction to start a simulation for wireless network. I have also got some wireless network code but they are very complex

Yes, wireless network code *is* complex. You are not going to be able to create a simple simulation for it.

Well, using Simulink would make WSN simulation easier and professional. You can use the documentation of Simulink on Mathworks website. Besides, I've a scientific paper which says that simulating a WSN using simulink is possible and easy. I can send it to you so, you can contact its authors.

By the way, I'm trying the same also. whenever I know something new, i'll inform you

You might be better off deciding on one (or at the most two) routing protocols for wireless sensor networks.. LEACH is a good algorithm to start with and can be implemented fairly easily in MATLAB. There are many spins off to LEACH such a VLEACH

I do not find any published papers with either of the topics you indicate, so you appear to have a small number of choices:

• write the code yourself
• use your university budget to hire someone to implement those projects
