geoshow question defining marker size
Afficher commentaires plus anciens
I am plotting points on top of a map. Each point is actually representative of a rectangular area. How can I plot that in geoshow FAST! Defining a polygon around each point is proving to be slow. Is there a way to get a marker size to represent a specific area. Or to relate the size of the marker to the map dimensions?

Hi, I am also curious how this works, so was wondering if you ever figured out how to change this? Thank you!

Depending on the type of projection, relating the marker size to an area can be more or less tricky

Perhaps use scatterm() ?
