Persistent issues with Gloptipoly

Every time I'm trying to run a code with Gloptipoly in it, it simply crashes and displays: MATLAB has encountered an internal error and need to shut down. I haven't faced this with CVX and reporting this hasn't elicited any proper response. Any thoughts?

Which version are you using? The one in the File Exchange is version 1.0; you can get a much newer version at http://homepages.laas.fr/henrion/software/gloptipoly/

I'm using Gloptipoly 3. Probably, because I'm running it on my laptop and computational power is limited. When I run on a regular desktop, it just works fine.

Would it be possible to attach everything needed to replicate this (except for the Gloptipoly itself, which I can get from laas ) ?

Bleh. Gloptipoly installs but needs SeDuMi . SeDuMi loaded from github fails to execute on my Mac saying a library is not found. Rebuilding it from source fails because different files disagree about whose responsibility it is to add trailing _ to fortran routine names; I do not know enough about the situation to say who is responsible.

No worries. Thanks.
