cannot input chinese under matlab command line mode

I use `matlab -nosplash -nodesktop` to start matlab in terminal , under the matlab terminal interface, I want to change to a folder contain chinese. when I type words, I actually see the candidate window appear, but after I press space key ,nothing done. even I cannot paste chinese in the matlab interface , however I can input chinese and paste chinese out of the matlab interface in the terminal, I try to start with LANG=zh_CN.utf8 , it gets same result. in the other hand, I can type chinese in the matlab GUI , things get wrong only when I use matlab in the command line ,how to fix it, any idea? the environment is fedora 27 , matlab 2017b ,system language is english.
