Waitbar minimum progress increment too high

On my system, I get the following results:

   h1=waitbar(0.029)

h2=waitbar(0.03)

waitbar only increments in 0.03 (3%) jumps. The waitbar documentation example shows a loop with 1/1000 as increment. I've looked around but I can't find a property that affects this. My process can take up to an hour, so it could take almost 2 minutes before any indication of progress occurs. Any ideas?

You could round up to the next 3% after the first loop, or create a function yourself that works on a pixel basis with image.
