the maximum principal stress (σmax) and minimum principal stress (σmin) in a loading cycle are used to predict life of punches. The stress variation amplitude and mean stress in a cycle period are important, which are designated as the amplitude stress (σa) and mean stress (σm)
σa = (σmax-σmin)/2 σm = (σmax+σmin)/2
σmax = 330.01 σmin = -952.02
