Hello, I want to control a device using Matlab and a Arduino CAN BUS Shield. I am fairly new to this, so i don't understand the concept behind the Arduino Matlab implementation.
As fas as I see it, the software on the Arduino gets flashed by Matlab to establish communication every time, so the example program to send out commands in a loop that comes from the CAN library gets erased? How can the Arduino act as the translator if the original software gets killed off?

Hello Thomas,
I have the same problem with you, I don't knew if Matlab contains libraries for CAN BUS Sheild.
And I don't knew also if we have to write the code in C arduino and interface with matlab just for getting results or write the code in matlab.
I will share with you if I get something.
