How to get a diagonal section of a DTM using matlab

HI, I'm searching to get a profile/section on a simulation results but i don't know how to do it. The problem is to get the interpolated values from a diagonal line like the green line in this figure :
I'm looking for a how to do it or a script that i can adapt to this problem.
