Undefined function error for input arguments of type char

hi all,
I am facing a problem when I run my code before it use to work well, but now its getting an error while i run, the error is :
??? Undefined function or method 'xlsprotect' for input arguments of type 'char'.
why I am getting this error ?? and how I can overcome it ? and why before it use to work well ?? please help...

xlsprotect() is not built into MATLAB. You need to download it and install it from the File Exchange http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/6046

how can I install this function in MATLAB ?? can you please explain ?
Click on the "Download All" link on that page. Create a directory and unzip the .zip into that directory. Add the directory to your MATLAB path using pathtool.
