parallel computing initiation probelm

Hi,

I face an error when I try to initiate the parallel computing:

After running the command, parpool, I get the following error message.

Error using parpool (line 113)

Invalid default value for property 'ParallelNode' in class 'parallel.internal.settings.ParallelSettingsTree':

Dot indexing is not supported for variables of this type.

I am using MATLAB 2018a.

Hi,

sorry for my late reply. No, I did not resolve it but I assume since my computer is a domain-joint computer, there is something with the MATLAB installation. I was just curious to work withe the parralel processing toolbox, so I did spend much time on it after this problem arised.
