i need a matlab programme to interface with my arduino to drive three motors in order to generate a path of my name "waligwa"

I suspect the task is to get the robot to move in a way that traces out the word "waligwa"

Assuming you have MATLAB R2012a, enter "targetinstaller" in the MATLAB Command Window. Follow the instructions to install support for your Arduino Uno or Mega 2560 hardware.
