cannot linearize my model in simulink

my model has 3 input fuzzy logic controller and the standard stepper motor-stepper motor driver from simpowersystems. i use tools/control design/linear analysis/linearize and i get a straight line as a plot. No step response no nothing. It says in other tabs that there are no inputs or outputs in this model and at state-space equations all matrixes are 0. ps: the model works when i run it. It is the responses that are not working

Did you make sure to choose the right inputs? Even if the linearization does not work, which may happen for a number of reasons, it should register your I/O.

In newer MATLAB verions in the Exact Linearization pane you will see the Analysis I/O options.
