Hello everyone,
I have observed some phenomena on differernt days of year and at differrent time. To plot this observations against time and days of year, I have used the plot command
plot([194 194],[3 5],'r','linewidth',3); % 194 is the day of year and 3 and 5 shows the start and end time of observation in hours.
We got the figure below
The phenomena is not observed at time in hours from [1 2] and [7 9] on the same day.
How can show the un-observed times of the phenomena along the line of observed time?
Any help will be appreciated.
THANKS

Sir, i want to plot the unobserved time [1 2 ] and [7 9] in hour on the same line of the observation time.
onservation time means at which the phenomena (PMSE) is observed.
unobserved time means the time at which the radar ran but the phenomena is not observed. I want to get the plot as below.
Thanks

In my first figure, it is shown that PMSE phenomena is observed at time interval of [3 5] in hours on day number 194.
