Filter excel data in GUIs

Hello there!
I am trying to make a GUI which will help me in the analysis of several track data received for some flights. First, I import the big excel file through a push button and then I would like that when I insert in the editable text box the aicraft type for instance, I could filter the loaded excel so that I only have the info related to that type of aircraft only. Or maybe, after I insert the type of aicraft, then a pop-up menu updates with all the flights available for that type of a/c so I can choose the one I want. Is it possible to make this kind of filtering?
Thank you!
Kind regards,
Georgiana

Yes. Do you import then create separate arrays, or is it all one array? Either way it shouldn't give you very much trouble.

Hey Brian, I import it then create separate arrays and believe it or not, it does give me troubles(rookie).I managed to make an update with the heading for the pop-ups, but I don;t know how to do the same for the case in which the filter is applied. I have to link somehow all these.. Can you help me it some hints?
Thank you! Regards,
Georgiana

You would have to code the separate headers in the separate callbacks for each filter. So for one button callback you will say to create a pop-up with one header and displaying information about that aircraft, and for another callback you will create another pop-up (or use the same pop-up but just change the header and info that's displayed, which will probably be more efficient, but I could be wrong).
