Stateflow Interface Lag While Editing

I have a fairly large stateflow chart with many subcharts. Whenever I enter a subchart (while editing, not running), Staflow seems to lag out for almost 10 seconds. Has anyone else experianced this?

My guess is that this is due to stateflow tracing the chart for unreachable states or other error. Is there a way to turn off Stateflow's error checking that occurs each time you enter a new subsystem?

This could be annoying. What version of MATLAB/Stateflow are you currently using? To answer your other question, you can turn off error checking by unchecking Display --> Errors/Warnings

I'm using Matlab 2016b.

I found the Display --> Errors/Warnings feature. I think it still checks but just doesn't display the results. Large portions of the model I was using were incomplete and full of issues (transition shadowing, unreachable states, etc). Once i went through and manually fixed all the error, the lag time went away completely.
