as part of my reaserch work i have to work on discrete optimization. but my matlab version does not support "openExample('globaloptim/steppedCantileverExample')". i need matlab code of this problem (Solving a Mixed Integer Engineering Design Problem Using the Genetic AlgorithmMixed Integer Engineering Design Problem Using the Genetic Algorithm) .please send me the same

Purchase and install the Global Optimization Toolbox.
Without that toolbox the code of the example is not useful for you as it calls functions defined in that toolbox.
