Array of same characters using any method (via loop method or any method)

I want to create an array of repeating same character

e.g

A = [ '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<']

i want to create character array [ '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<' '<'] to be used.

So that when i call A its output should be like this

A

'<<<<<<<<<<<<<<'
