Why i am getting this error after installation of r2012a

my friend tried to install r2012a, after getting installed 100% i am getting error server.lic not found in your licence file

This means, that your installed version needs to contact a license server, but the corresponding files are not installed properly. Ask the admin of the license server or contact TMWs technical support.

If you have accidently installed a version which you do not have a vlaid license for, delete it and perhaps ask "files (AT) matlab.com" to delete this thread.
