Hi, may I know what is the purpose to activate Parallel Server license with a network license server? If I do not want to integrate the Parallel server with network license server, I don't know why I need to fiil in the network license server during the activation. Would you advise?
Thanks,
CY

If I recall correctly, Parallel Server needs access to the network license server in order to know which toolboxes are authorized to be executed. Parallel Server permits you to use any licensed toolbox in distributed computing, but does not itself permit you to use all toolboxes.

Can I use register the same network license server(concurrent license) as parallel server's license server? Do I need to build another network license server seperately for parallel server?
Thanks,

I believe that you can use the same license server.

It's because Parallel Server's license is worker based.
By default, License Manager manages the number of Parallel Server's workers.
The license is independent from that of MATLAB desktop but you can merge both licenses.
If your server is connected with internet and you don't want to manage License Manager, you can choose Online Licensing options.
