Matlab communication with a 3D monitor with polarized rendering in PsychToolbox

Dear community,
since I am not yet so deep into PsychToolbox (but will be very soon), I'd need a preliminary assessment before going very deep into hardware issues. Unfortunately, the link with a possible answer to my request is not available anymore in the FAQ section of PsychToolbox.
Does someone have experience with direct transmission of two different frames/images from Matlab into the two polarization channels of a 3D monitor? More general: is there any possibility to communicate Matlab with a 3D monitor for this purpose? If so, is a 3D display with shutter technology to prefer over one with polarization technology or vice versa considering the timing accuracies, latencies etc.? This would be very useful for dichoptic stimulation in binocular rivalry with minimized crosstalk between the two presented images.
Looking forward to any suggestions!
Best, Dalibor
