Collection of all the signals by Phased.collector

With the help of collector function, we have to give what signal we have to collect and its angle. But can we collect all the available signals near the receiver (direct path signal from transmitter, reflected signals, clutter (in case if we want to model)etc., ) without specifying them?

Also,
should the waveform be modulated over a carrier before radiating it? (Say if we are using rectangular waveform, should we modulate and send it? and demodulate at the receiver?)

Yes, the “collector” can be used for all the signals from angles by specifying the second input argument as shown as shown here.
Modulating the waveform is based on the application. If you require long distance ranging, modulation is generally recommended. If the range of interest is a short distance from RADAR platform, modulation would not be as essential.
If you are interested in a few standard Direction of Arrival algorithms, you can use this resource to get started with these operations.

I'm still confused by the resouce provided. Can you specify further how to collect the signals without specifiying the angle of incidence?
