Cannot access HERE HD Live Maps

I am trying to access HERE HD Live Map, and I followed the instructions from the documentation for entering HERE HD Live Map credentials by executing the following command in the MATLAB R2019b command window:

>> web(fullfile(docroot, 'driving/ug/enter-here-hd-live-map-credentials.html'))

After entering the credentials, it says unable to validate credentials.

Could you help to figure out what the problem is? Are my APP ID and Code wrong?

Based on the credentials sent, you can reproduce the error, which provides the following URL in the workspace:

https://here-hdmap-ext-weu-1.catalogs.datastore.api.here.com/v2/catalog/versions/latest?startVersion=-1&app_id=xEIWD1U0zCtxmQY5ETUF&app_code=FoLXDZW11SU64p8qIV5evQ

Going to the URL in any browser returns the following:

{"error":"Forbidden","error_description":"These credentials do not authorize access. Please contact your customer representative or submit a request here https://developer.here.com/contact-us to upgrade your account. You can also get valid credentials by registering for a free trial license on https://developer.here.com."}

This is likely because the credentials you are using are not for the HERE HD Live Map (HDLM) service.

You can confirm this from the screenshot provided where it is stated that the credentials can only be used with other specific HERE products, not HERE HD Live Map.

You will likely need to reach out to HERE customer service to get the appropriate license for HDLM:
