Error in using Matlab's python interface -- "python.exe Entry Point not found"

I have suddenly started getting a strange error when I call Matlab function from Python.

import matlab.engine

eng = matlab.engine.start_matlab()

eng.addpath('c:\library',nargout = 0)

Was working fine until it started giving the following error:
