Updating Python API to MATLAB2020a

I am using MATLAB 2018b and python 3. I would like to update to MATLAB 2020a. How do I change the MATLAB engine API so python call MATLAB 2020a?

Hi,

I guess you can follow similar steps with MATLAB 2020a as you did while setting MATLAB Engine API for R2018b.

Understood. What happens when I follow the directions? Am I writing over the python library? And, will I loose the abilty to call R2018b?
