I want to run a matlab script from python. I am able to run it from python. In matlab file, I used regionprops() to get the bounding boxes. I want to save that file or workspace which contains those coordinates from python.
How can I do that? Can somebody help me please?

Hope this gives you a head start to map to your problem!
