Best identification methods for ICE system model estimation

I try to find some applications on spark ignited engine model estimation examples in order to understand which methods ARX, NARMAX, OLS, Hammerstein-Wiener Models etc.. will be useful such a engine have some delays, uncertainities and nonlinearities.
