remove silent place in wave file in frequency domain

hi how can i remove silent places from wave file Knowing that file was transformed from time domain to frquency domain by using fast fourier

I don't think it would be easy at all, especially not matching phases.

But you could try doing a low-pass filter on the frequency domain data. At least that's what looks like just might work on the very simple test I just ran.
