How to convert pixel color white to black and other color to white

For the purpose of this question, how do you define "white" ? Is (255,255,253) white? Is (14,14,14) white ?

Hi Walter,

let say there are any edge of color image, the edge color part is white, and the other parts have the other colors. I want to convert this edge part only (maybe about 255,255,253) into black. And the other part (they have a range of intensity) become white in the same time processing. thanks

Are you looking to convert the brightest parts to black, or are you looking on converting white to black? If it is white that needs to be converted then you need to give a precise definition of what is "white" for this purpose.

Are you sure you have a true color image and not a gray scale uint8 image?
