How to find the passive emitter location using TDOA method. How to solve corresponding non linear equation?

the emitter location has to be found using time difference of arrival method by collecting signatures from the passive emitter. it requires solving of non linear equations. the YAOGAN ELINT satellite uses this method.

fsolve() ? Or for more complex problems, something from the Optimization Toolkit http://www.mathworks.com/products/optimization/description3.html
