I also have this issue. But I got an "access denied" message when I tried to access the Simulink Support Package for Arduino. I wonder why this happens and how I can fix it. If you tell me to use Add-Ons in the MATLAB app, honestly, I am a student and I can't afford the official MATLAB. That’s why I use a cracked version, because I can’t use Add-Ons.

Hey Andile,
I understand that you are facing an issue installing Simulink Support Package for Arduino Hardware.
It appears that some environment variable was set incorrectly during your Arduino support package installation. This is likely due to the bug referenced in this EBR. To fix this issue, please follow these steps:
1) Uninstall the 'Simulink Support Package for Arduino Hardware' addon using the MATLAB Addon manager
2) Close MATLAB
3) Follow the steps in the EBR referenced above
4) Reinstall the Arduino support package. If the support package does not completely finish installing, then please make sure you performed steps 1-3 correctly, and reattempt this step
I hope this helps!

I still received an error in installing the teensy support files. Are you suggesting we use the R2017a as part of the solution?
